it's almost a week ago..

but on tuesday the 19th of June

I made some cupcakes!

I made some basic cupcakes

and tried to make a buttercream with homemade strawberry jam!

- Oh, my mom's strawberry jam is the best! - 

so here it is:

And of course I needed to try this one: 

fruit sprinkles!

My boy brought these home for me.

I'm always telling him about the colored chocolate sprinkles I saw as a kid in the tv-program Sesame Street and how hard I once wanted to try them..

So here they are! Isn't he a sweetheart, my boy!

Actually the sprinkles do not taste like fruit at all..

They're just colored sugar sprinkles to me.

But I like them anyway!

If summer doesn't want to show up, let's bring summer into our kitchen !

Oh, by the way: they were delicious!
